DISplayer
Content Presentation - DISplayer(former Graphic Engine, GE)
DISplayers are available in a version for fixed screen installations and in a version for mobile screen installations. DISplayers in fixed screen installations are found back in supermarkets, banks, hotels, cinema’s , airports,… while the Mobile DISplayers have their place in busses, metros, trains, trams,…
A major benefit in choosing dzine DISplayer technology is that the DISplayers for fixed and mobile screen applications can be managed and operated by the same dZine’ s DISplay Studio software. This means in reality that the system administrator doesn’t need different software tools to simultaneously manage and administrate fixed DISplayers or Mobile DISplayers
DISplayers come in a basic version and a Standard Definition (SD or SD+) DISplayer. SD and SD+ DISplayers provide extended connectivity compared with the basic DISplayer SD+ DISplayers offer improved performance for advanced flash and tickers.
The mobile DISplayer is developed to meet the specific hardware requirements inside vehicles :
- The power is taken from the 24 volt battery of the vehicle. No additional power supplies or power convertors needed.
- It can be connected to the board computer of the vehicle for controlling purposes and to receive real time travel information.
- Data communication is done by using GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA,… besides standard WIFI and wired LAN connectivity Up- and downstream data transfer guaranteed whilst the vehicle is driving or parked during out of service times
- Geographical position of the vehicle can be detected by using a built-in GPS in the mobile DISplayer Triggering content displayed by the mobile DISplayer based on the exact location of the vehicle.
In the table below, you can find the different configurations of the DISplayer product range.
dZine’s DISplayers are chosen because of:
- wide connectivity
- passive cooling
- hardware rated for 24/7 applications
- rack mountable (height 1.5U)
- non-Windows Operating System stored on solid state memory
- a long availability of spare parts (> 10 years).
- support of multiple monitor/plasma/LCD/ projector and LED display resolutions.
- extreme high reliability and uptimes (>98%) , auto reboot and auto restore content less than 30 seconds after a power failure, watchdog
DISplayers are available as a stand-alone solution, but can also be directly integrated into a display offering the following additional benefits:
- This all-in-one solution is very easy to install and to maintain
- no need for external DVI or RGB connections between display and DISplayer, resulting in better image quality
- DISplayer and display diagnostics integrated via the DISplay Studio application.
- automatically on and off switching of DISplayer and display
