MultiView AkuComp is an integrated solution for addressing the inherent skew in Cat5-type cable. MultiView is the only video-over-Cat5 system to offer an integrated package, simplifying installation.
On each of R, G and B, the user simply tunes out the skew using a simple vernier test pattern (Magenta-supplied) on the display, projected image or monitor linked to the MultiView receiver. 31 nanoseconds of delay, in 1 nanosecond increments, can be set using exposed, binary dipswitches on the receiver with the AkuComp option.

Computer video is transmitted 0 to 500 ft. (152m) with the AK500 PC kit, and 0 to 1000 ft. (305m) with the AK1000 PC kit. The AK500 / AK1000 PC’s allow the CPU’s to be centrally located in a secure, controlled environment computer room, making it easier to manage PC access, repairs and upgrades while improving reliability. Other benefits of relocating the CPU are increased desk space and a quieter work area. |
