4x16 Multi-Format Distribution Hub

The UDM has 4 high resolution input ports (A, B, C and D) on the back of the unit. Additional Composite Video inputs (RJ45 presented on front of unit) allow for the connection of four interconnects from an Endeleo Managed TV TVM1600 distribution hub or 4 Composite Video sources using approved Video over UTP extenders (e.g. Extron MTP range, NVT314A, NVT418A). Depending on the type of sources configured, the system could have up to four RGBHV sources or four Component Video Sources or four S-Video Sources or twelve Composite Video Sources or any combination of the above.

The UDM-0404 is designed for smaller installations with long video/audio cable runs. It supports four high-resolution input ports and four output ports, making it an ideal solution for distributing audio/video content to a classroom, conference room or other presentation room.

Advanced, yet cost-effective, the UDM-0404 delivers media over easily-installed, dedicated Cat5/5e/6, which decouples distribution of the media from the corporate backbone. Users can quickly switch and transmit any video source to any display device, power on/off display devices, and permission user control to select and play video sources and media servers on demand.

Multi-Format Video Distribution over a single UTP cable, made simple with a single end point that does it all. With Intelligent Receiver Technology each UDM receiver is powered remotely from the UDM hub. As the hub is switched from one video/audio source to another, the UDM receiver detects a change in video signal and automatically switches the Plasma or LCD screen to its new video format. Distances of 300m/1000 feet are supported at 1280x1024; higher resolutions are supported at shorter distances.

The UDM receiver incorporates the latest chip technology for advanced skew compensation. Integrated Device Management (IDM) enables all UDM receivers to provide full control sequences for both IR and Serial control. These control sequences are stored in the receiver, providing the ability to switch on/off display devices on an ad-hoc or scheduled basis. Multiple commands can be processed by the receiver and closed loop feedback is possible for use with the AMX NetLinx control system.

Installed at the display device, the UDM-RX01 converts the signal received from the UDM-1604 or UDM-0102 Multi-Format Distribution Hub to standard audio/video signals.

The TVM-1600 Managed TV Distribution Hub is the central node of the system that converts the multi-channel RF input to user-selectable video channels for distribution using the standard building infrastructure.

The TVM-RX03 Managed TV Receiver provides the endpoints for video distributed from the TVM-1600. This small form-factor device, located near the display device, converts the audio/video signals from the Cat5 cable into composite video and stereo audio on standard RCA connectors.
